Speech, Language and Communication Disorders for the Healthcare Provider: Topic: Facilitating Early Diagnosis and Timely Intervention for Best Outcomes of Children with Speech and Language Delays, Disorders or Disabilities

This workshop will discuss the difference between typical and atypical development in speech, language and communication, what signs and symptoms to look for as a healthcare provider, the importance of timely intervention and who should be involved, and what intervention may be needed.

Who is this workshop for?

This 3 and a half hour workshop is for all healthcare providers who work with families and children including General physicians, pediatricians, nurses and other health care professionals
